Geoffrey J. Zimmer is a native of New Orleans and a long-term resident of Jefferson Parish. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and his Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.
Geoffrey began his professional career with a strong technical foundation as a Systems & Instrumentation Technician in the United States Air Force. Following his military service and completion of his finance education at UNO, he transitioned into a professional career in Accounting and Finance. His early civilian experience included serving as Business Manager for a local Architecture and Interior Design firm, followed by his role as Controller for a multi-state General Contractor specializing in commercial construction.
In 2008, Geoffrey joined ECM Consultants as Comptroller, bringing with him extensive experience in financial management, operational oversight, and construction industry accounting. In 2012, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, a role in which he continues to provide strategic financial leadership, fiscal oversight, and long-term planning support for the firm.
As CFO, Geoffrey plays a critical role in ensuring ECM’s financial strength, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth, supporting the company’s mission to deliver high-quality consulting services across the region.
